The Well
Numbers 21:16b-17a: “[T]he Lord said to Moses, ‘Gather the people together, and I will give them water.’ Then Israel sang this song: ‘Spring up. O well!'”
Well Gatherings
Well Gatherings are monthly meetings for caregivers, family members, and church leaders who provide care and advocacy for those navigating mental illness. Well Gatherings offer a place to work through faith questions, reduce the veil of isolation, and find support within the body of Christ.
We meet every four weeks, usually on the second Thursday of the month, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. During the summer, the group meets in July only. There is no cost to attend.
Currently all Well Gatherings are being held virtually. To receive the link for a Well Gathering or for more information about this group, please contact Rev. Sarah Kromer at [email protected] or call 704-554-2490.
We hope you will join us!
Well Workshops for Congregations and Church Leaders
Faithful Christians and church leaders may feel uncertain about how to help families dealing with mental health challenges. At the same time, the stigma of mental illness in our culture often leads individuals and caregivers to hide their needs from the church and suffer in silence. Recognizing the Lord’s active ministry to individuals and families navigating mental illness, ICSM offers Well Workshops to support congregations and church leaders as they nurture our brothers and sisters in Christ. If you are interested in hosting a Well Workshop or learning more, please contact Rev. Sarah Kromer at 704-554-2490 or email [email protected].
